&#60;p&#62;Duties: Responsible for deployment, patching, managing, and maintaining Windows 2003/2000 servers, Active Directory, IIS, Exchange, and Windows XP.  This position focuses on making sure organization's systems are secure, tuned for optimum performance, delivering required information to end-users, and interacting properly with other systems.  In addition, this position will perform implementation and maintenance of applications as required.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, backup devices, and monitoring interfaces in an Active Directory environment&#60;br /&#62;
Deploy client code to servers as stated in change control documentation&#60;br /&#62;
Assist with OS building, configuration, group policy development, and systems management&#60;br /&#62;
Review changes, support issues, functionality changes, and requirements for server&#60;br /&#62;
Act within identified guidelines, standards, and policies&#60;br /&#62;
Work in an Integrated Project Team (ITP) environment requiring interaction with other server engineers, users, and client managers in identifying requirements, specifications and managing project planning activities&#60;br /&#62;
Assist team with evaluating technologies and providing recommendations regarding standardization, sizing, and costs for server purchases&#60;br /&#62;
Assist with updating operating system software to comply with support criteria&#60;br /&#62;
Perform in a fast-paced environment where project deadlines are critical and multiple projects run in parallel&#60;br /&#62;
Requires occasional work outside of normal business hours&#60;br /&#62;
Reports to Director of IT Operations&#60;br /&#62;
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will be familiar with information technology practices and procedures, including the following skills:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Knowledge of MS Windows Server, MS Active Directory, and/or MS Exchange&#60;br /&#62;
Understanding of networking technology at the physical (twisted pair, fiber optic) and logical (Ethernet, TCP/IP) level, including the various supporting services and protocols (DNS, LDAP, NTLM, Kerberos, SMB)&#60;br /&#62;
Familiar with information system backup concepts&#60;br /&#62;
Willingness to work concurrently on multiple project tasks&#60;br /&#62;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills&#60;br /&#62;
Excellent problem solving/root cause analysis skills&#60;br /&#62;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office&#60;br /&#62;
Preferred Skills:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and 4 Server&#60;br /&#62;
Some administration and implementation of any Relational DBMS&#60;br /&#62;
Experience working with Dell hardware&#60;br /&#62;
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical degree&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Compensation: Commensurate with experience; range is $33,000-$49,775 annually&#60;/p&#62;
