Duties: The Support Services Technician position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve customer support issues in a timely manner. As a member of the Support Services Team, you will work directly with end users and internal departments via telephone and e-mail to document, troubleshoot, and resolve reported issues, as well as assist customers and peers on the use and the support of web-based products. You should demonstrate exceptional initiative and creativity in handling customer issues, as well as communicate comments & suggestions from users to the product development team. You will be the face of the company as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and post-sales support to ensure remarkable customer satisfaction and drive customer enthusiasm. The Support Services Center is open Monday through Friday, 7a.m. to 7p.m. and weekends from 10a.m. to 2p.m. to provide extended support services and accommodate clients worldwide.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will have previous work experience involving problem solving, software support, and/or customer service related fields as well as the following skills:
Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of web browsers
Adept in Microsoft Office applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, is a team player, and has the ability to take initiative
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change easily
Self motivated, responsible, patient
Career-minded, results-driven personality with strong commitment to follow-through
Preferred Skills:
Computer programming or web development experience
Education: High School diploma, seeking a Bachelor’s degree. Studies concentrated in business or technical fields are a plus.
Compensation: Part-time starting at $9.62 per hour
